The Big 5 Series I Bullion marks a new chapter for South African gold bullion, the first 24 carat offering since the 22 carat Krugerrand was introduced in 1967.

Each coin celebrates Africa’s iconic wildlife heritage through striking designs inspired by the continent’s “Big Five” animals: elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo.

The initial release features the African elephant, a symbol of strength and family unity, with subsequent editions to follow every five years.
